If you are looking for a quiet secluded place to camp run by a friendly family this is it. The camp sites are big and have fire rings and picnic tables. Just a short walk to the winery for wine tasting and a souvenir makes a great afternoon. The owner's daughters contribute by selling farm fresh eggs from her chickens and painting portraits of beloved pets. We took advantage of both and display our painting of our little yorkie in our RV. What a neat experience, we will definitely pay them another visit.

Great place to go camping. It's peaceful, clean, and the wine is definitely with trying.

Very warm and inviting welcome from staff and camp host. We found the winery station onsite a plus, wine tasting was a big hit. Staff at the winery house were very friendly. We found this to be a small park, which needs some TLC. The park has some hiking trails, however, the trails, leaves and shrubbery at the park need some maintenance. Many campers were long term, and these RV’s appeared really rough, which presented a negative look on the park. Wi-Fi was weak and not reliable. DirecTV (free standing satellite) had no issue. Verizon phones were able to get a 3g signal. Some leveling was needed, as our site was located on sand/dirt. Water pressure was strong, use regulator. Pull through sites are available.

I selected Carrollwoods RV Park because I was taking my RV on its initial outing and wanted to be fairly close to home (Wilmington, NC) in case things went wrong. It was a great choice because the park is very clean with wonderful facilities, the staff is friendly and, despite being nearly full, the grounds are exceptionally quiet and peaceful. It was a terrific experience and I would recommend it to anyone. Well Done!

A peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature. Two good golf courses within 10min.
